Features common to all five commercial versions
  1. menu applets with mouse-sensitive synchronized trailing transition effects
  2. apply these effects to make button menus out of any graphic of your choice
  3. default internal graphics available if you have no images of your own
  4. default internal graphics automatically resize to whatever you need
  5. the entire applet auto-animates at intervals if there is no mouse-activity
  6. the auto-animation (pulse effect) can be switched off
  7. superimpose your text centered over each button
  8. wrap text over up to 10 lines on each button
  9. align text centre, left or right, with user-configurable margins

Features specific to particular versions
  1. Classic version: fade transitions with variable in- and out- speed; highly popular "sunset" button style now optionally generated internally for you.
  2. Rainbow version: spectacular hue transitions which can be applied to any image; both clockwise and anticlockwise rainbow transitions.
  3. Wipe effects version: includes 18 different basic transitions (e.g. oval, rhombic, rectangular), including grow/shrink and triple-edged variations, all with variable edge-smoothing.
  4. Ripple effects version: includes 5 basic transition effects (e.g. circular, oval, rectangular) with variable speed, wavelength, amplitude and frequency.
  5. Pagefold version: simulates the fold of a page in a book; 10 different transitions including multiple centre tear-away; true 3D-shading; gold foil default internal graphics.
Differences in free versions
  1. free use only on public websites - blocked for intranets
  2. animated rainbow copyright splash during initialisation
  3. limit of 20 on the index size
  4. height may not be less than 50 pixels; width may not be less than 140 pixels
  5. index file must be contained in a "menu.txt" file on the server
  6. no line-wrapping
  7. no javascript activation commands (e.g. onMouseEnter, onMouseExit)
  8. no pulse effects / pulse control
  9. no dynamic menus
  10. no parameter indices
  11. no text alignment control
  12. no true-type fonts
