Overlay images for iSlide Pro Sliding Buttons
The example graphic above produces single-arrow
overlays for top-level folders, and double-arrow overlays to distinguish
second-level folders. The arrows shift between horizontal and vertical
position to distinguish open and closed positions. In addition the
mouse-down arrows are slightly shifted to make the arrows appear to
move down and right when pressed by the mouse - this adds to the pressed
effect.
The number of columns is theoretically unlimited, although you
will need at least three. As with the base files,
the rows specify normal, pressed and highlighted states, and both rows
and columns must be separated by one pixel. The images contained in the
overlay file must correspond exactly in size with the images in the
base file. For this reason the resource library separates out the
files by size. If you are not precise with
sizes, the page generator application will reject your image file -
it runs a size check.
Each column in the overlay file corresponds to a stylesheet entry.
For example, the third column corresponds the third stylesheet
entry, which is the default entry for "page"-buttons (i.e. non-folders).
Remember that "folder"-buttons use two adjoining sets of overlays.
Thus the default style for folders is the first and the second
column. This is important to note when creating a stylesheet with
the page generator.
