| Hybrid drop-down menu / image-map menu iMMap Pro Menubar
- Powerful navigation bar java applet to put along the top of a web page
- This menu combines an image-map with an unusual kind of drop-down menu
design to create a unique navigation concept. Use an image such as a company
logo, with full-screen width and a moderate height, as the background. The
applet will arrange your menu items over this in a single or double bar
drop-down menu configuration. The upper of the bars will drop downwards, but
the lower of the bars will pop upwards - in both cases, up to two additional
levels of horizontally-aligned submenu bars appear.
- High degree of artistic reconfigurability - submenus have many options
which the user can reset.
- High scalability: about 1000-2000 menu items can
be handled in a user-friendly manner within a narrow
space along the top of the web page.
- The Pro version is the top of the range, the main advantages being
- Several options allowing partial or complete definition of submenus
by graphical images (instead of the standard colour/text layout of the
more basic versions)
- Dynamic image switching - frequently seen in complex DHTML websites
but made much easier here with java, and compatible with pre-DHTML browsers
- Multi-threaded image preloading to complement the above features, making
image usage much more fluid; the preloading is automatic, requiring no
additional work by the web-designer
- Ability to trigger javascripts
- Numerous precision parameters for tweaking the exact appearance
- Stylesheets (up to 6 user-definable styles available)
- Adjustable explosion speed
- Additional separator colour parameters
- Separate title/submenu border deactivation
- Direct title-text drawing
- Latest version: 2.70
