- This menu is an imagemap menu enhanced with drop-down menus.
- This demonstration shows the horizontal menu version
of iMMap Express. In this version the sub-menus are aligned with
all the entries in a horizontal line, making the menu suitable
for a narrow top navigation bar along the top of the webpage.
- In every other respect this functions exactly like the standard
full page version. Essentially this is an image map menu with
pop-up menus added.
- Draw your own background using a graphics editor. Then define
a MAP file using the usual design tools. Write your index. And there
you have it!
- Remember that this type of pop-up menu only pops-up
within the bounds of the imagemap applet. The submenus cannot pop-up
over other page content or over frames edges.
- The Express version differs from the Mini version mainly
in (i) the additional sub-menu level, (ii) allowing unlimited numbers
of entries, (iii) having much more precisely user-definable colour and
appearance schemes.
- The additional sub-menu level can be set to appear above as well as
below the first sub-menu - this can be used to save space.
